Whoopi Goldberg to Play Miss Hannigan in 'Annie' at Madison Square Garden
Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Award-Winner Joins New York Cast

Whoopi Goldberg is set to star as Miss Hannigan in the upcoming production of "Annie" at Madison Square Garden this holiday season. The show will run from December 15th to January 8th.
Goldberg is an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Award-winning actress, comedian, and author. She is best known for her roles in "The Color Purple," "Sister Act," and "Ghost." This will be her first time playing Miss Hannigan, the cruel orphanage matron.
The production of "Annie" will be directed by Tony Award-winner James Lapine and will feature a new score by Tony Award-winner Duncan Sheik.
