How to Remove Acrylic Nails at Home
Acetone Soak
One of the most common ways to remove acrylic nails without damaging your natural nails is an acetone soak. To do this, you will need to soak your nails in a bowl of acetone for about 15 minutes. The acetone will help to lift up the acrylic so that you can easily remove it with a nail file.
Foil Method
If you prefer not to soak your nails, you can try the foil method. To do this, you will need to soak a piece of cotton in acetone and then wrap it around your nail. Secure the cotton with a piece of aluminum foil and leave it on for about 30 minutes. The acetone will help to dissolve the acrylic so that you can easily remove it with a nail file.
